Villafranca Satellite Tracking Station (VILSPA)
It is in the valley of the Guadarrama, to approximately 30 kms. from Madrid. It realizes the control and follow-up of missions of the European Space Agency
To the north of Almeria, in the Sierra de los Filabres, is placed the Hispanic - German Astronomic Center of Calar Alto.
Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex (MDSCC)
To 60 kms. from Madrid, in Robledo de Chavela. It forms a part of the Deep Space Network of the NASA with Goldstone in California and Canberra in Australia.
It is in Yebes, Guadalajara. Recently it has just inaugurated a new radio telescope of 40 meters.
Laboratory for Space Astrophysics and Theoretical Physics (LAEFF)
Placed in the facilities of the VILSPA in Villafranca del Castillo, it carries out researches in diverse fields of astrophysics from observations realized with his radiotelescopes.
Sierra Nevada Observatory (OSN)
It is placed in Sierra Nevada, in the place of Loma de Dílar, in Granada.
